PVHS Girls Soccer

May 12, 2022

PVHS is happy to announce Victor Jerez as the new varsity head coach for women's soccer.

He replaces Coach Bilena Brafman who stepped down to spend time with her children and focus on one sport at PVHS, which is swimming. Please note: Coach Brafman just recently had her JV boys and JV girls win the Ocean League swim title as well as our varsity boys swim team sharing a co-championship with Nipomo High School for the 2021-2022 season. Coach Brafman will be missed.

Victor has several years of coaching experience. For the 2021-2022 season, Victor was the JV head coach for PVwomen’s soccer. In addition, Victor has been a coach with the Coastal Valley Soccer Club (CVSC), coaching multiple age groups for the last five years. He has also served on the board as a Vice President.

Over the years, Victor has mentored many kids in Santa Maria. He has coached several All-Star teams throughout the Central Coast. He also volunteers for the community by helping organize soccer tournaments for the CVSC.

“On behalf of PVHS, we look forward to his vision for the PVHS Women's Soccer Team,’’ said Panther Athletic Director Anthony Morales.
