The Curriculum and Instruction Department is committed to advancing student achievement by continuously researching, developing, and implementing effective teaching and learning practices. With a focus on how students learn best, the department works to ensure instruction is relevant, rigorous, and responsive to student needs—both inside and outside the classroom.
This department provides leadership and oversight for a wide range of programs and services that support the whole student, including Teaching and Learning, Student Services, Special Education, Multilingual and Migrant Education Programs, Career Technical Education, Alternative Education, Dual Enrollment, Wellness, and Educational Technology.
By aligning curriculum with best practices and innovative approaches, the department empowers educators and equips students for success in school, college, career, and beyond.
