Transportation

The Transportation Department plays a vital role in supporting student success by providing safe, reliable transportation to and from school each day. More than 1,200 students ride the bus daily, with 29 dedicated drivers covering approximately 318,000 miles each year to ensure students arrive safely and on time.

School buses remain the safest mode of transportation for students and also help reduce traffic congestion around schools and throughout the city. Fewer cars on the road means lower emissions and a positive impact on our local environment.

The district is committed to meeting the needs of all students, including those who require specialized transportation services. We offer routes and accommodations designed to support students with unique needs.

In addition to daily routes, the Transportation Department provides activity and athletic bus services for field trips, sports events, and other enrichment opportunities that extend learning beyond the classroom.
